- Agreement
By scheduling, booking, or receiving any service from SpeedFix Appliances (“SpeedFix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you (“Customer”) agree to these Terms of Service. - Services
2.1 Scope
SpeedFix provides residential and commercial appliance repair services in the greater Houston, Texas area including Katy, Fulshear, Cypress, Sugar Land, Richmond, Missouri City, and surrounding cities.
2.2 Diagnostic Fee
A diagnostic fee applies to each service visit and covers the technician’s time to diagnose the issue and provide a written estimate:
• Residential appliances: 9 diagnostic fee
• Commercial appliances: 9 diagnostic fee
The diagnostic fee is waived when repair is completed during the same visit.
2.3 Estimate & Approval
No repair work begins without your explicit verbal or written approval of the estimate. You have the right to decline the repair after receiving the estimate, in which case only the diagnostic fee applies.
2.4 Parts
SpeedFix uses OEM (original equipment manufacturer) or equivalent quality parts. Parts availability may affect repair timelines. We will notify you of any delays. - Pricing & Payment
3.1 Pricing
All pricing is provided upfront before any work begins. Final charges will not exceed the approved estimate without your prior consent.
3.2 Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, checks, credit cards, debit cards, and Zelle.
3.3 Discounts
Applicable discounts (first-time customer, senior 65+, military/veteran — $30 off) must be mentioned at the time of booking or before service begins. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively.
- Warranty
4.1 Parts Warranty
All parts installed by SpeedFix are warranted for 12 months (1 year) from the date of service against defects in the part itself.
4.2 Labor Warranty
All labor performed by SpeedFix is warranted for 90 days from the date of service.
4.3 Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover:
• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper operation
• Damage caused by power surges, floods, fire, or other external events
• Pre-existing conditions unrelated to the repair performed
• Normal wear and tear of other appliance components
• Issues arising from customer-supplied parts
4.4 Warranty Service
To request warranty service, contact SpeedFix at (346) 824-5642 with your original service date and description of the issue. Warranty service is performed at no charge during the warranty period. - Cancellation & Rescheduling
Please see our separate Cancellation Policy for full details. We ask for reasonable notice when cancelling or rescheduling so we can serve other customers. Call or text us at (346) 824-5642 as soon as you know you need to change your appointment. - Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
• Provide safe and reasonable access to the appliance and work area
• Ensure a responsible adult (18+) is present during the service
• Disclose any known hazards or conditions in the work area
• Ensure the appliance is accessible for safe repair - Limitation of Liability
SpeedFix’s total liability for any claim arising from services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. SpeedFix is not liable for incidental or consequential damages including food spoilage or loss of use.
SpeedFix carries general liability insurance. If our technician causes verifiable damage to your property during service, please notify us immediately at (346) 824-5642. - Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County or Fort Bend County, Texas. - Changes to Terms
SpeedFix reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms are effective upon posting to our website. - Contact
